Peter Hacket was a casualty of the budget cuts to the UK Secret Intelligence Services (SIS).
Now considered a deniable retread resource, he contracts out his specialist black services to any organisation or individual who can afford him.
The German Gorgh organised crime syndicate spotted an opportunity to steal identity encryption code developed by the UK Defence IT services.
The new code was of interest not only to Financial Institutions but also to many EU crime families.
When known that the dysfunctional and squabbling Gorgh family were establishing a computer operation in Richmond, London to steal the code and headed up by a Debrora Peers, a reluctant Hacket was assigned to infiltrate the operation.
What amazed Hacket and the UK MI5/6 was just how and who had been comprised to achieve the Gorgh objective -
The operation clearly had to be stopped, but it came down to Hacket to make the ultimate decision over how and who would be ‘removed’ especially so as he was left out of the need to know loop.
When he got unprofessionally close to Peers, Hacket had a dilemma if she should be collateral damage. His final decision would have long term repercussions.
